Rev. Dr. Gopalswamy Jacob was born and brought up in Tamilnadu. He has seven years of teaching experience and eight years of pastoral service. Besides translating several books in Tamil, he has written a book on Calvin's hermeneutics in understanding the concept of "Stranger" in the Old Testament.

Mr. Ngatar hails from Raphei Valley, Manipur. He has served in various capacities like General Secretary of Tangkhul Student Union, Bangalore, Voluntary Staff of Christian Education Department of TBCA, Secretary and Convenor of UTC and been of Assembly Speaker of Tangkhul Christian Fellowship, Bengaluru.He joined Calvin Institute of Theology soon after the completion of his Master degree in 2015.

Mr. Makanmi Kasomva hails from Hungpung Village, Ukhrul District, Manipur. After his B.D. he served in Martin Luther Christian University, Shillong as Project Assistant for a year. Soon after his M.Th. studies, he served as a Lecturer in Bethel Bible Institute, Danishpet, Salem, Tamil Nadu in Biblical Studies, New Testament and Greek Language for three years. Currently, he is teaching in Calvin Institute of Theology in Biblical Studies, New Testament and Greek Language.

Mrs. Shanti David was born and brought up in Andhra Pradesh, India. She taught at SIBS, Bangarapert from 2007 to 2010 and also in Bethel Bible Institute, Salem from 2012-2013. She also served as Chaplain of CSI Mission Hospital, Co-ordinator, Department of Christian Education, Rayalaseema Diocese and has written several articles in various journals.

Ms. Sonia J. Aji hails from Kerala but brought up in Delhi. During her theological studies served as the Chief Editor for the magazine \91Divyakiran\92 in Hindi and English. After M.Th. she served as an Asst. Lecturer in Bethel Bible College, Guntur. Currently she is teaching in Calvin Institute of Theology as a lecturer in Theology and Ethics.

Rev. Prashant Kumar was born and brought up in Maharashtra. After the completion of B. D., he served as a lecturer in at Maharashtra Bible College. After his M. Th. studies, he served as an Assistant Professor at South India Biblical Seminary, Bangalore. Along with his teaching ministry, he was also assisting the Anglican Church in K. G. F. Currently, he is teaching in Calvin Institute of Theology along with his Doctoral research work under SATHIRI.

Mr. Livingstone was born and brought up in Tamilnadu. He has ministerial experience both in India as well as abroad. After his B.D. studies, he served as a Live-in Assistant and House Leader in L' Arche Community, United Kingdom. Soon after the completion of his Master degree he joined Calvin Institute of Theology.

Rev. A. Israel David hails from Tuticorin, Tamilnadu. He served as a chaplain of CSI Mission Hospital for 12 years. After his BD, he served as a program co-ordinator of a NGO. During his pastoral ministry, he also served as a project director, Compassion projects and project administrator, project for people living with HIV-AIDS. He served as convenor of National Healing Ministry committee, CMAI and co-ordinated DCPC program of Senate of Serampore. He served as a faculty and Principal of SIBS for three years. He has written several articles and has contributed to two books of BTESSC.

Th. in Gurukul and will be joining CIT soon after completion.

Rev. Jeevaraj hails from Tamilnadu. He is an ordained minister of Evangelical Church of India. He has rich academic and ministerial experiences.After his theological studies he served as a Lecturer in ITS, Chennai for a year. He joined Calvin Institute of Theology soon after the completion of his Master degree in 2014.

Mrs. Shekinah Bernice Athisayam was born and brought up in Tamilnadu. After the completion of secular studies, she worked as English Teacher in CSI Goodwill Christian College for Women, Bangalore. She has been teaching at Calvin Institute of Theology since June 2012.

Miss K. Jasmine Preethy was born and brought up in Chennai. After the completion of M.Phil., she served as a lecturer in Madras Christian College for a year. After which she served two years as a lecturer in St. Joseph College of Arts and Science, Chennai. She also served as a lecture in New Life Community College for under privileged students. She joined Calvin Institute of Theology in the year 2013.

After completion of Bachelor of Divinity from Gurukul, she is working as Tutor in CIT.

Spiritual Life

CIT affirms that men and women are suited for Christian service by their personal holiness, spiritual giftedness, academic competence and ministry skills. This means that personal qualities are as important as the acquisition of knowledge and ministerial skills.

Scholarships

CIT provides scholarships up to 80% of their total fees. Students in need of financial assistance for their studies can apply for their scholarships. Scholarships will be made available to students also on the basis of their academic and all round performance.
