What are the Graduation Requirements?

    First Class A+ 80% Plus A 75% A- 70%
    Second Class B+ 65% B 60% B- 55%
    Third Class C+ 50% C 45% C- 40%

What are the facilities available at Calvin?

  • CIT provide good learning environment with traditional and modern facilities. The class rooms, library, chapel and computer lab are arranged with a state of art. CIT has spacious dinning facility.


    Chapel services are conducted weekly to provide spiritual enrichment for the seminary community. Chapel is an integral part of seminary life and students are expected to attend all Chapel-related activities without fail.


    The Library has started growing in number. Soon, the Library books will be sufficient for the students to do their assignments. Several computers are kept in the library for students and for the librarian with internet facility. Student can use computers to prepare their assignments and paper presentations. The library is open on Monday to Friday from 8.00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. with regular intervals for lunch, tea and supper. On Saturdays, the library is open from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. Separate guidelines will be given during orientation. Library books should be taken with the permission from the Librarian and return with good condition on due date. Internet connection is available in the library. All the computers are connected with centralized server and CPU. Photocopying facility within the rules of the library is available at a minimal rate.

    Food Court

    The students are given food according to their preference within certain stipulations. The following are the dinning times
    Break Fast 7:30 - 8:00 a.m.
    Lunch 1:00 - 1:30 p.m.
    Supper 7:30 - 8:30 p.m.
    Coffee and Tea are provided with snacks at 10:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

    Besides the Food Court, CIT has a kitchenette where students can make their coffee and tea at any time.


    CIT provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls with excellent amenities. Separate rules and regulations will be given to the students on their arrival. Students are expected to read and sign on these terms. CIT also provides family quarters with partial furniture if both husband and wife are admitted in CIT.

    How to reach your institution?

    The following details will help you on how to reach our institution,
    1. 1) CIT campus is located in Yacharam, on the Nagarjuna Sagar high road, 18 km from Ibrahimpattnam and 45 km from LB Nagar.
    2. 2) From Hyderabad MGBS, take any bus that goes Devarkonda and get down at Yacharam stop.
    3. 3) From Secunderabad: take bus no. 279 to reach Ibrahimpattnam and from there share auto and jeeps are available to reach Yacharam.
    4. 4) From Shamshabad international airport, take a taxi to reach Yacharam via Nagarjuna Sagar high road.

    What are the requirements to join Bachelor of Divinity Course?

    You should have completed Plus 2 or its equivalent to enroll in the five year B. D. program and for the four year program you should be a graduate.

    What are the certificates I should furnish along with my application?

    For BD Five Year program & B.Th. you should submit the following along with the application form,
    1. 1) Date of Birth Proof (Usually SSLC/ 10th Certificate)
    2. 2) Original Plus two/Intermediate Certificate and Mark sheet
    3. 3) Transfer/ Migration Certificate
    4. 4) Any Government Identity proof (Voter card, Driving License, Adhar Card etc...)
    For BD Four Year program you should submit the following along with the application form,
    1. 1) Date of Birth Proof (Usually SSLC/ 10th Certificate)
    2. 2) Original Degree Cumulative Mark sheet
    3. 3) Original Degree Certificate
    4. 4) Original Migration Certificate
    5. 5) Any Government Identity proof (Voter card, Driving License, Adhar Card etc...)

    I have did my graduation/ Plus two studies in vernacular language. Does CIT offer any opportunity to gain English proficiency?

    You can undergo a one year Certificate in Theology course that offers subjects on English language as well as on basic introduction to theology. At the completion of this course you may enroll for Bachelor of Divinity course.

Academic Life

CIT believes that a systematic theological education is crucial to a comprehensive and proper understanding of God's Word. Every student is expected to do his or her best in studying and understanding the Scripture. The following guidelines apply to the academic life of every student:

Spiritual Life

CIT affirms that men and women are suited for Christian service by their personal holiness, spiritual giftedness, academic competence and ministry skills. This means that personal qualities are as important as the acquisition of knowledge and ministerial skills.


CIT provides scholarships up to 80% of their total fees. Students in need of financial assistance for their studies can apply for their scholarships. Scholarships will be made available to students also on the basis of their academic and all round performance.
